Hiring: Safety Officer
RAK Petropack LLC is seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to uphold and enhance our safety standards across our manufacturing operations. If you have the requisite experience and certifications, we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Implement and monitor compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Ensure adherence to UAE labor laws and company safety policies.
- Deliver safety training sessions, emergency drills, and awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and records.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Safety, or Environmental studies from an accredited institution.
- 2–3 years of professional safety experience in industrial operations or construction.
- Proven experience in preparing and implementing risk assessments.
Certifications:
- NEBOSH International or National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health (mandatory).
- Additional certifications such as CSP, CRSP, CMIOSH, IDipNEBOSH, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Certified in Emergency Management, CPR, AED, First Aid, and Basic Fire Fighting.
- Completion of training in Risk Assessment procedures.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct effective training and promote safety awareness.
