We are seeking a Research Assistant to join our collaborative research project:
𝘌𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘮 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘙𝘰𝘣𝘰𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, funded by the University of Sharjah and Sharjah Museums Authority, with international partners from ENIB (France), Julius-Maximilians Würzburg University (Germany), and Sharjah Autism Center.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (BSc or MSc)
- Technical Skills: Python, ROS, PyTorch, Computer Vision
General Skills:
- Autonomous, responsible, and proactive in work
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) for communication and reporting
- Able to read and summarize scientific articles in English
- Minimum 4 months of experience in research (academic or industry) in robotics or AI
- Must be currently residing in the UAE and hold a valid Emirates ID
The selected RA will collaborate closely with international partners—especially ENIB (France)—and support the development and testing of robotic systems designed to enhance inclusion in museum environments.
