Hiring Junior Accountant
Location: DIFC, Dubai – UAE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our accounting team with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to the smooth functioning of our finance department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in end-of-month closure procedures.
- Support other accounting projects as required.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with senior accountants and the finance team to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (B.Com).
- 1–2 years of accounting work experience in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Analytical mindset with strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
- Critical thinking skills with high proficiency in mathematics.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages.
