Description:
This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai for a Financial Accountant who will be responsible for leading a team of accountants in preparing financial statements and reports and also ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The role involves working closely with other cross-functional teams alongside timely coordination and communications with clients on financial analysis for ensuring necessary TAT and accuracy in the financial reporting functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, with a background in audit or public accounting preferred
- Proficient in Excel and proven ability in working on accounting softwares
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively
- Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports accurately and efficiently
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines
- Experience with tax compliance and accounting in the UAE or Middle East will be preferable.
