We are seeking a proficient and experienced Data Analytics Lead to join our esteemed telecom client in the UAE.


As the Data Analytics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our data strategy in alignment with business objectives.


Contract: Yearly Renewable

Location: DUBAI, UAE

Notice to Join: Immediate to 30 Days

Key Accountabilities:

  • Developing and implementing a data strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Managing data lifecycle, including acquisition, in-life usage, storage, transformation, and disposal.
  • Defining and Overseeing data governance practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, developing, and implementing privacy policies, and managing data security.
  • Collaborating with other business units to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and support for team members.
  • Collaborating with business leaders, executives, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and priorities.

 Knowledge and skills:


  • Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.
  • Experience in Digital transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SaS Visual Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
  • Knowledge of data security best practices. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Knowledge of Financial services/banking-specific compliance requirements.
  • Ability to perform statistical analysis and apply data visualization techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
  • Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
  • Project management skills to oversee data and analytics initiatives.
  • Knowledge of vendor management principles and experience in selecting and working with external data-related service providers
