Hiring Chartered Accountant (5+ Years Experience)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: Finance / Accounting
Reports To: Finance Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant with over 5 years of post-qualification experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the organization, including financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, audits, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, GST, Income Tax).
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Maintain and improve internal control procedures and risk management frameworks.
- Handle direct and indirect tax matters, including filing and resolving queries from tax authorities.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Manage and monitor cash flow, banking operations, and working capital.
- Provide financial insights and reports to senior management for decision-making.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems and accounting software.
- Liaise with external consultants, auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Mentor and supervise junior accountants and finance staff.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with active membership of ICAI or Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CPA equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in FMCG, Construction is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial modeling or investment analysis.
- Exposure to international taxation or transfer pricing.
- Familiarity with IFRS / US GAAP (if applicable).
- Education: Bachelor’s (Preferred)
- Language: English, Malayalam (Preferred)
