Hiring Accountant and Operations Officer

Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely transactions and follow-up on payments.
• Prepare financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the company’s financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT submissions and audits.
• Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Operations Duties:

• Assist in coordinating daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Support inventory control and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure accurate shipment tracking and on-time delivery.
• Monitor key operational metrics and prepare performance reports for review by senior management.
• Help implement operational improvements and streamline processes to increase productivity.
• Ensure that health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting and operations, preferably within the UAE in car field
• Knowledge of accounting software Odoo.
• Understanding of Dubai financial regulations, especially VAT compliance.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Preferably having car license
